Continental Chef at Ascentech Services Limited – Lagos
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a Continental Chef in Lagos to prepare quality dishes, contribute to menu development and maintain consistent kitchen service and food-safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present continental dishes in accordance with established recipes, portions and quality expectations.
- Help develop menus and recommend additions or special dishes.
- Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, stock availability and safe storage.
- Follow food hygiene, sanitation and kitchen safety standards.
- Minimise wastage, assist cost control and work with colleagues to deliver meals on time.
- Care for kitchen tools and equipment and report maintenance requirements.
Requirements
- Three to five years’ experience as a Continental Chef or in a comparable kitchen role.
- Good command of continental cooking methods, recipe execution and food presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Creativity, attention to detail, teamwork and effective time management.
- Relevant culinary training or professional qualification is an advantage.
