DCS Engineer at African Natural Resources and Mines Limited – Gujeni, Kaduna
African Natural Resources and Mines Limited is recruiting a contract DCS Engineer for its Power Plant Operations team in Gujeni, Kaduna State. The role focuses on safe and efficient monitoring and control of boiler and turbine systems.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boiler, turbine and auxiliary equipment through distributed control systems.
- Track operating variables including pressure, temperature, flow and levels, and act appropriately on alarms, deviations and abnormal process conditions.
- Coordinate with field operators and other shift personnel to maintain reliable plant operations and effective handovers.
- Apply standard operating procedures, safety rules and plant instructions, escalating equipment and process abnormalities promptly.
- Support operational efficiency, plant availability and reliability.
Requirements
- HND or BEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
- Four to five years of hands-on DCS operation and monitoring experience, particularly with boiler and turbine operations in a power-plant environment.
