Site Engineer Intern at Ikevora – Apo, Abuja
IkeVora is recruiting a Site Engineer Intern for a four- to five-month, on-site construction assignment in Apo, Abuja. The placement offers practical experience supporting site engineers and project supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Assist with supervision and monitoring of daily construction work.
- Check compliance with approved drawings, dimensions, specifications and quality standards.
- Observe materials and workmanship and report defects, deviations or project challenges.
- Support setting-out and measurement tasks and document site progress in daily reports.
- Monitor equipment, materials and labour use and help coordinate contractors and artisans.
- Follow site safety requirements and carry out reasonable tasks under engineering supervision.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology or a related discipline.
- Open to recent graduates, NYSC members and candidates with one to three years’ relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, building materials and engineering drawings.
- Good observation, communication, problem-solving and willingness to learn.
- Available to work on-site in Apo, Abuja; AutoCAD and Microsoft Office familiarity is an advantage.
