A food-processing and manufacturing company in Kaduna is recruiting a Production Manager through AMS Sigma Consulting to supervise production, uphold food-quality standards and improve operational efficiency.

Job Summary

• They are seeking a competent, hardworking and results-oriented Production Manager to oversee its food production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily food production activities.
• Ensure consistent product quality, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Manage production staff and ensure efficient utilisation of manpower, raw materials and equipment.
• Monitor production costs, minimise wastage and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Maintain proper production records and reports.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Production Technology or a related discipline.
• Practical experience in food processing or manufacturing, including some supervisory or production management experience.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, quality assurance and production processes.
• Good leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage production teams and work towards achieving production targets.
• Familiarity with food processing machinery and equipment will be an added advantage.
