Junior Project Engineer at Undisclosed Company – Abuja (FCT)
An undisclosed employer is recruiting a contract Junior Project Engineer in Abuja (FCT). The role supports the Project Management and Technical Team under the supervision of a Senior Project Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Help prepare and update implementation plans, work schedules, milestones and activity trackers.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, bills of quantities, method statements and other submissions, escalating discrepancies.
- Monitor progress against approved schedules, technical requirements and deliverables.
- Participate in site visits, inspections and reporting on technical or operational issues.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers and other stakeholders on outstanding submissions and commitments.
- Monitor quality standards, technical compliance and health, safety and environmental issues.
- Prepare project reports, meeting records, presentations, risk registers and action trackers.
- Support equipment inspection, delivery, installation, commissioning and technical close-out.
- Maintain project records and support handover packs, as-built drawings and operation manuals.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant experience.
