Dentist at Lily Hospitals Limited – Benin City, Edo State
Lily Hospitals Limited is recruiting a full-time Dentist in Benin City, Edo State, to deliver oral healthcare, diagnose dental conditions and provide preventive and restorative treatment.
Clinical responsibilities
- Examine teeth, gums and oral structures, assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide scaling, polishing, fillings, extractions and other general dental procedures.
- Interpret dental X-rays and other investigations, counsel patients on oral hygiene and refer complex cases to specialists.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, protect patients through infection-control procedures and care for dental equipment.
- Work with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or an equivalent recognised dental qualification.
- Valid registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and a current annual practising licence.
- At least two years of post-qualification experience in general dentistry and routine dental procedures.
- Strong diagnostic, patient-management, counselling, record-keeping and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism, compassion, attention to detail and willingness to work flexible hours when required.
- Experience in a hospital or established dental clinic is an advantage.
