Ego’s Kitchen and Delectable is hiring a Driver in Surulere, Lagos, to deliver its prepared food boxes safely and on schedule. The position involves careful order handling, courteous customer service and responsible vehicle upkeep.
Key responsibilities
- Transport customer food orders promptly, safely and along assigned delivery routes.
- Check orders and packaging for accuracy and completeness before leaving.
- Handle meals carefully to ensure they reach customers in good condition.
- Keep the assigned vehicle or motorcycle clean and properly maintained.
- Follow agreed delivery schedules and communicate with customers professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery and payment records.
- Promptly report faults, road incidents and operational concerns to management.
Requirements
- A valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle assigned.
- Good knowledge of Surulere and surrounding areas.
- Reliability, punctuality, honesty and professional conduct.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Previous driving or delivery experience is an advantage.
