Financial Controller at Hyde Energy – Lagos
Hyde Energy is recruiting a Financial Controller in Lagos to lead financial reporting, controls, planning and statutory compliance in its trading and energy business.
Responsibilities and requirements
- Oversee financial accounting, monthly and annual reporting, budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, costs, margins and operating results.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax law and statutory remittances.
- Improve internal controls, coordinate audit work and manage financial risks.
- Provide analysis and commercial insights to executive and operational teams.
- Lead, coach and develop finance staff and reporting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, with ICAN, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Five to eight years’ relevant finance experience including senior financial control; prior FMCG or oil and gas experience is required.
- Proficiency with financial systems, Excel and financial performance analysis.
