English Tutor (Online) at CHIVA Academy – Akure
CHIVA Academy is hiring a full-time Online English Tutor who must live in Akure, Ondo State. Teaching is delivered online to students in different countries and time zones.
Teaching responsibilities and skills
- Teach English Language from pre-kindergarten through Grade 12 using online learning platforms.
- Be prepared to teach lower-grade Mathematics when required.
- Manage virtual lessons, engage students and provide clear, supportive communication.
- Work flexibly across different times of the day to accommodate international learner schedules.
Requirements
- Degree in English Language.
- Strong spoken and written English, classroom management, patience and learner-centred instruction.
- Ability to teach virtually using appropriate platforms and digital resources.
- Reliable internet, a suitable teaching device and a quiet working environment.
- Full-time availability, scheduling flexibility and residence in Akure, Ondo State are mandatory.
