Field Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) at AUT Energy Resources Limited – Rivers State

AUT Energy Resources Limited is hiring a Field Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) in Rivers State to test, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, calibrate, maintain and repair instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot control system defects and perform loop checks and functional testing during commissioning.
• Service transmitters, switches, analysers, control valves and PLC-related devices.
• Read piping and instrumentation diagrams, loop diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams and equipment documentation.
• Support planned maintenance, shutdown, turnaround and start-up assignments.
• Maintain inspection and calibration reports while following client and company HSE procedures.

Qualifications and experience

• OND, HND, relevant HSE certificate, technical diploma or trade certification in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in industrial operations or the oil and gas industry.
• Working knowledge of sensors, control systems, PLCs, calibration equipment and industrial automation.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and solve faults methodically.
