Finance Officer at Pullus Africa – Kaduna
Pullus Africa is recruiting a full-time Finance Officer in Kaduna to maintain reliable accounting records, process transactions and support financial reconciliations, reporting and controls.
Responsibilities
- Keep accurate records and supporting documents for financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, accounts payable and receivable, and expenditure records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing, financial reports and other management schedules.
- Support improvements to transaction processing, reporting and reconciliation workflows.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners while protecting financial information and following accounting policies.
- Use Excel, other Microsoft Office applications and applicable accounting software for reporting and analysis.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- One to two years’ experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, regulations and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Excel, careful financial documentation, integrity, confidentiality and ability to meet deadlines.
- Student membership of ICAN/ACCA and working knowledge of accounting software are advantages.
