Hilton Worldwide is recruiting a Food Safety Officer in Lagos to support hotel food hygiene, health and safety, fire protection and operational compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support the safety team in managing food safety, health, fire safety and security standards across designated hotel operations.
- Implement company risk controls, safety policies and measures to reduce guest complaints and hygiene-related risks.
- Conduct regular food-safety checks, audits and accident investigations, documenting findings and following up on corrective action.
- Deliver food-hygiene and fire-safety training to managers and team members, maintaining training records.
- Work with Facilities to test fire-detection and sprinkler systems, perform weekly safety tours and report deficiencies.
- Assist Facilities in monitoring contractors’ compliance with health and safety requirements.
