HR Manager at Astria Learning – Remote

Astria Learning is recruiting a remote HR Manager to coordinate and support HR officers across multiple locations. The role combines people leadership, consistent HR procedures, employee relations and compliance across distributed teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support HR officers working across different offices or regions.
• Develop and improve HR policies and procedures so that people-management practices remain consistent across locations.
• Work with department heads and site leaders to plan staffing and translate workforce needs into effective HR actions.
• Oversee recruitment coordination, onboarding, performance management, employee relations and offboarding.
• Apply relevant employment laws and compliance requirements in different operating locations.
• Monitor HR measures and prepare reports to support leadership decisions.
• Handle escalated employee-relations matters confidentially, fairly and professionally.
• Develop engagement, retention and organisational culture initiatives for a geographically distributed workforce.

Requirements

• Experience in HR management or a senior generalist position, preferably involving teams across multiple locations.
• Knowledge of employment legislation, HR compliance and policy implementation.
• Ability to coach HR professionals and build trusted relationships with colleagues and senior managers.
• Strong communication, prioritisation, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in education technology, technology or multi-country HR operations is an advantage.
• Familiarity with HR information systems, HR reporting and professional membership such as SHRM or CIPD is desirable.
