HSE Manager – Oil & Gas at an Undisclosed Company via Worknigeria – Warri
An oil and gas services company is recruiting an on-site HSE Manager in Warri through Worknigeria to lead safety, environmental compliance, risk management and incident prevention.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HSE policy and management systems aligned with applicable regulations and standards.
- Oversee statutory inspections, safety audits and dealings with regulators.
- Lead risk reviews, JHA, HAZID/HAZOP and site hazard controls.
- Investigate incidents, monitor HSE indicators and supervise corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training, inductions, toolbox talks and emergency drills.
- Manage environmental protection, spill response, waste systems and emergency readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- At least ten years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in oil and gas services or EPC.
- Relevant NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of Nigerian oil and gas compliance and high-risk field operations.
- Ability to supervise teams and contractors and work on site in Warri.
