Lead Mechanical Inspector (Onshore) at Hyde Energy Limited – Lagos
Hyde Energy Limited is seeking a Lead Mechanical Inspector (Onshore) in Lagos to monitor fabrication quality, material inspections and installation-related testing.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the quality of onshore fabrication and monitor offshore installation activities relevant to the assignment.
- Witness welding, non-destructive testing, post-weld heat treatment, coating work, pressure tests and dimensional inspections.
- Inspect incoming materials, raise nonconformance reports and approve inspection and test records.
- Compile timely daily mechanical inspection and quality assurance reports.
Requirements
- Hold valid BOSIET, OSP and offshore medical fitness certification.
- Possess suitable inspection qualifications, including ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP III, NDT Level II or CSWIP Plant Inspection where relevant.
- Understand applicable ISO, API, DNV and ASME standards.
- Demonstrate strong HSSE awareness and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.
