Role overview

The HR Manager will help maintain effective workplace policies, support staff development and coordinate the people-management functions of the spa.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment and selection, from job descriptions and vacancy announcements to screening, interviews and assessment arrangements.
• Coordinate staff induction and explain company procedures, duties and expectations to new employees.
• Keep personnel, attendance, leave and employment records accurate, organised and confidential.
• Review punctuality, conduct and leave requests, and support fair implementation of HR procedures.
• Help management develop HR policies and coordinate appraisals, performance-improvement actions and staff training.
• Handle employee complaints, workplace conflicts, disciplinary processes and grievances professionally.
• Work with branch managers on schedules, staffing needs and workforce planning.
• Provide accurate attendance, leave and overtime records to support payroll preparation.
• Promote compliance with workplace policies, hygiene requirements, professional conduct and Nigerian employment regulations.
• Support staff welfare, recognition, engagement and retention initiatives.
• Prepare regular reports on recruitment, attendance, staffing and employee performance.
• Maintain employee-data confidentiality and advise management on improvements to productivity and workforce operations.
