Recruiter – Bilingual (French / English) at Backline Outsourcing – Abuja

Backline Outsourcing is recruiting a Recruiter – Bilingual (French / English) in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

The Role

• We are growing, and we are looking for a recruiter who can find the right talent across English and French-speaking markets.
• As a Bilingual Recruiter, you will manage the full recruitment cycle, from understanding client needs to placing the right candidate.
• You will source, screen, and engage candidates in both English and French, and keep clients and candidates informed at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for multiple roles at the same time
• Partner with clients and hiring managers to understand role requirements and agree on timelines
• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, databases, and talent communities
• Screen CVs and conduct interviews in both French and English
• Write and post clear, engaging job adverts
• Coordinate interviews, assessments, reference checks, and offers
• Keep the applicant tracking system and recruitment reports accurate and up to date
• Give candidates a professional, timely experience and build a strong talent pipeline
• Meet agreed targets for time-to-fill and quality of hire.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken (non-negotiable)
• 2 to 10 years of recruitment experience, in an agency or outsourcing environment (preferred)
• Proven record of filling roles across different levels and industries
• Strong sourcing skills, including Boolean search and LinkedIn Recruiter
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple vacancies under deadlines
• Comfortable using an ATS and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Willing to work onsite in Abuja.

Nice to Have

• Experience recruiting for BPO, customer support, or international clients
• Professional HR or recruitment certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD).
