Inventory Controller at Sundry Markets Limited – Multiple Locations

Sundry Markets Limited is hiring five Inventory Controllers for Marketsquare retail operations in Abuja, Warri, Asaba, Owerri and Lagos. The role maintains accurate stock records, analyses stock movements and supports reliable replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock balances and transaction histories in ERP and POS systems.
• Authorise and document receipts, transfers, returns, write-offs and adjustments.
• Analyse turnover, ageing, slow-moving goods, obsolete stock and product availability.
• Recommend replenishment, markdowns and inventory-investment improvements.
• Reconcile physical counts to system balances, investigate variances and document corrections.
• Plan cycle counts and participate in periodic full stocktakes.
• Work with inventory, audit and loss-prevention teams to reduce shrinkage and strengthen controls.

Requirements

• BSc or HND in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion documentation.
• Prior stock control or related retail experience; FMCG experience is preferred.
• Strong analysis, forecasting, inventory-process, ERP and Excel skills.
• Effective communication, collaboration and ability to mentor junior colleagues.
