Internal Auditor at iRecharge Tech-Innovations Limited – Lagos
iRecharge Tech-Innovations Limited is recruiting a full-time Internal Auditor in Lagos to assess its financial, operational, regulatory and technology controls.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out financial, operational, compliance and IT audits under an approved plan.
- Review controls in payment systems, lending, digital banking, treasury and customer onboarding.
- Identify control gaps and operational risks, recommend improvements and follow up on audit actions.
- Assess compliance with CBN and NDIC requirements, AML/CFT guidance, IFRS and internal policies.
- Review system-level automated controls, draft reports and coordinate with auditors, regulators and risk or compliance teams.
- Support the development of internal audit processes and sound governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related subject.
- ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA or comparable professional certification is required; CIBN is an advantage.
- Three to five years’ relevant internal or external audit experience, ideally in banking or fintech.
- Knowledge of audit frameworks, risk management, internal controls and financial-sector regulation.
- Excel proficiency, familiarity with audit or data-analytics tools and strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
- Integrity, confidentiality, good judgement and ability to work independently.
