Junior Cost Controller at The Foodhub by CWC – Lekki, Lagos
The Foodhub by CWC is seeking a full-time Junior Cost Controller in Lekki, Lagos, to monitor kitchen inventory, costs and operational controls.
Inventory and cost control
- Audit raw-material, perishable and packaging stocks and maintain FIFO and wastage records.
- Reconcile stock issuance and use against point-of-sale and production records.
- Investigate food-cost variances, sales shortages and inventory discrepancies.
- Support monthly closing with accurate kitchen-cost information and work with chefs to reduce wastage.
Reporting and compliance
- Monitor kitchen efficiency and compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Report yield, cost per dish, spoilage, waste and sales shortages.
- Recommend improvements to workflows, costs and controls.
- Support financial SOP, HACCP and audit compliance, and train kitchen staff on documentation.
- Coordinate operational and financial information between kitchen, finance and management.
