Junior Project Manager at Afripoint Group Limited – Abuja and Ikeja, Lagos
Afripoint Group Limited is recruiting for two full-time Junior Project Manager openings across Abuja (FCT) and Ikeja, Lagos. The position sits in Product Management, reports to the Product Manager or Head of Product and supports the delivery and improvement of digital products.
Product planning and documentation
- Research user needs, business priorities and potential product opportunities.
- Help develop product roadmaps, features, requirements and priorities.
- Gather stakeholder input and prepare user stories, product requirement documents, process flows and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain accurate product documentation, task boards and project records.
Coordination and delivery
- Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers, testers and business teams to clarify and track product work.
- Take part in planning, Agile or Scrum ceremonies where applicable and escalate blockers.
- Support user research, interviews, surveys, competitor research and feedback analysis.
- Assist with user acceptance testing, issue tracking, product releases and feature launches.
- Monitor product engagement, adoption, retention and satisfaction metrics and prepare performance reports.
- Provide regular updates to the Product Manager and support assigned product activities.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline.
- Zero to two years of experience in product management, project coordination, business analysis or a related role.
- Understanding of software development and digital product lifecycles; Agile or Scrum familiarity is an advantage.
- Experience with Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp or similar tools and familiarity with UI/UX principles.
- Clear writing, analytical thinking, research, communication, task management and collaborative problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative and adapt to changing priorities.
Performance expectations
Performance is assessed through product documentation quality, team coordination, task follow-up, user feedback and contributions to product improvements and delivery.
