Mirakay Holistic Wellness Centre is recruiting a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist in Magodo Phase 1, Lagos, to oversee a newly established diagnostic laboratory, perform investigations and maintain laboratory quality and regulatory compliance.

Job description

• We are seeking an experienced and qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to manage and oversee its newly established diagnostic laboratory in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory investigations, including haematology, clinical chemistry, urinalysis and microbiology.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Ensure proper sample collection, processing and storage.
• Validate laboratory results and maintain quality control standards.
• Manage laboratory records, reagents and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with MLSCN regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Oversee daily laboratory operations and supervise support staff where necessary.

Requirements

• BMLS Degree or recognised equivalent.
• Current MLSCN registration and valid practising licence.
• Minimum of 5 years post-NYSC experience, preferably in a clinical diagnostic laboratory.
• Practical experience operating haematology and chemistry analysers.
• Ability to independently manage routine laboratory operations.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory quality control, safety procedures and infection prevention.
• Good communication skills, professionalism and attention to detail.

Salary

N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
