Shift Miller at Olam Agri – Tincan B (TCB)
Olam Agri is recruiting a Shift Miller for its Tincan B (TCB) operation in Nigeria. The position manages assigned milling shifts, production quality, machinery performance and operational coordination.
Responsibilities
- Deliver production plans efficiently while monitoring mill output and extraction performance.
- Maintain flour and feed quality, food hygiene and production-control standards.
- Investigate milling breakdowns and coordinate troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Record shift performance, plant downtime and operating costs.
- Reduce waste and manage operational expenditures through process improvements.
- Lead, train and coordinate mill teams and oversee relevant vendor and premises activities.
- Apply GMP, QMS, FSMS, 5S and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Food Science.
- At least four years of hands-on wheat milling and relevant production experience.
- Strong knowledge of milling machinery, process optimisation and troubleshooting.
- Experience supervising independent operations and teams.
- A recognised milling diploma or NABIM/NABIMS qualification is preferred.
