Mining Engineer at African Natural Resources and Mines Limited – Gujeni, Kaduna
African Natural Resources and Mines Limited is recruiting a contract Mining Engineer in Gujeni, Kaduna State, to coordinate mine production, planning, equipment utilisation and safe operating practices.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise mining activities and daily production schedules.
- Oversee excavation, drilling, blasting, loading, hauling and material movement.
- Prepare and implement short-term production plans.
- Track mining performance and the use of machinery, equipment and personnel.
- Coordinate with geology, survey, maintenance and production teams.
- Identify operational problems and reduce production delays.
- Maintain compliance with mining regulations, workplace safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct site inspections, prepare operational reports and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
Four to five years of relevant experience in mining operations, planning, production monitoring or operational management, with an ability to coordinate resources, achieve targets and maintain safe mining activities.
