Offshore Surveyor at an Undisclosed Company via Onstream Group – Lagos (Onshore/Offshore)

An undisclosed client is recruiting an Offshore Surveyor through Onstream Group for a permanent supervisory position in its Survey & Geospatial Operations team. Based in Lagos, the role involves both onshore and offshore assignments and management of geophysical and hydrographic projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise onshore and offshore survey work, data acquisition and technical reporting.
• Lead teams working with GNSS, USBL, multibeam echosounders, side-scan sonar and sub-bottom profilers.
• Manage surveying projects from planning through execution and close-out, meeting budgets and client specifications.
• Coordinate stakeholders, contractors, resources and survey logistics.
• Maintain health, safety, environmental and quality standards across projects.
• Mentor junior survey staff and enforce company procedures and industry practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Hydrography, Geophysics, Surveying or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of onshore or offshore survey experience, including two years in supervision or project management.
• Proficiency in QINSy, EIVA, Hypack, Caris or comparable survey and data-processing software.
• Valid OGUK offshore medical, BOSIET/FOET and other necessary offshore certifications.
• Strong leadership, project planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with asset integrity, pipeline inspections or subsea construction support surveys.
