Senior Geoscientist at Kimeric Nigeria Limited – Lagos
Kimeric Nigeria Limited is recruiting a Senior Geoscientist in Lagos to integrate geological, geophysical, petrophysical, reservoir and production information for field development and hydrocarbon recovery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated geological and reservoir models.
- Identify and assess field development and production opportunities.
- Provide geological input to drilling, well planning and workovers.
- Evaluate geological uncertainty and risks, supporting reservoir management and production optimisation.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior geoscientists.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related geoscience field.
- At least nine years’ relevant experience in an exploration and production operating environment.
- Strong reservoir and production geology, modelling and reservoir-characterisation skills.
- Proficiency in Petrel or similar geological modelling software.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; higher qualifications or professional certification are an advantage.
