Operational Audit Manager – QSR Confectionary at an Undisclosed Company via Khenpro Global Services – Lagos

An employer is recruiting a Operational Audit Manager – QSR Confectionary in Lagos.

Role Purpose

To provide independent oversight of operational processes, controls and compliance across outlets, production, inventory and support functions, identifying risks, leakages and inefficiencies and driving corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular operational audits across outlets, production, stores, inventory, procurement and logistics.
• Review compliance with SOPs, internal controls, food safety standards and company policies.
• Identify operational risks, process gaps, revenue leakages, wastage, stock variances and control weaknesses.
• Review sales, inventory, cash handling, purchasing and operational records for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, root causes, risks and recommended corrective actions.
• Follow up on agreed corrective actions and monitor closure of audit findings.
• Conduct surprise checks and investigations into suspected operational irregularities where required.
• Analyse operational data to identify unusual trends, variances and potential areas of concern.
• Work with Operations, Finance, HR, Procurement and other functions to strengthen controls and improve efficiency.
• Recommend practical process improvements that enhance accountability, cost control and profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Internal Audit or related field.
• 5–8 years’ experience in operational audit, internal audit, risk, controls or compliance, preferably within QSR, FMCG, retail, hospitality or food manufacturing.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit procedures, inventory and cash management.
• Strong analytical, investigative, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, independence and attention to detail.
