Procurement Manager at a Hospitality Company – Lagos, Lagos State
A hospitality business is recruiting a full-time Procurement Manager in Lagos to manage sourcing, supplier relationships, purchasing controls and inventory coordination.
Purchasing and suppliers
- Develop purchasing plans based on operational needs, budgets and approved specifications.
- Manage quotations, requisitions, purchase orders, vendor records and delivery timelines.
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality, reliability and cost savings.
- Review pricing, contracts, payment terms and supplier performance.
Inventory and controls
- Coordinate with stores and departments on stock levels, reorder points and delivery checks.
- Investigate shortages, damaged goods, invoice differences and excess stock.
- Apply procurement policies, approval limits, audit trails and regulatory standards.
- Prepare reporting on expenditure, supplier performance, risks, savings and price trends.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
- CIPS or comparable procurement qualification and at least five years’ relevant experience.
- Mandatory hospitality procurement background covering food, beverages, housekeeping, maintenance and operating supplies.
- Proven sourcing, negotiation, inventory-management and cost-reduction capability.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, purchasing systems, analysis, organisation and communication.
Monthly salary is negotiable within the stated range of ₦250,000–₦300,000.
