Payroll Lending Manager – Private Sector at Strivo Labs – Ikeja, Lagos

Strivo Labs is recruiting a Payroll Lending Manager in Ikeja, Lagos, to expand private-sector employer partnerships and manage payroll-linked loan origination, repayment and portfolio risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop check-off lending partnerships with private-sector employers and grow employee loan origination.
• Coordinate employer onboarding, salary verification, deduction consent and remittance management.
• Improve underwriting criteria and manage accounts affected by employee transfers, resignation or dismissal.
• Track portfolio at risk, non-performing loans, employer-level risks, collections and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee lending sales pipeline, conversions, disbursements and regular performance reports.
• Travel across Nigeria to build partnerships and work with Sales, Credit, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Six to ten years’ consumer or retail lending experience, including payroll or check-off lending exposure.
• Proven lending-portfolio, credit-risk, employer relationship and loan-system management skills.
• Certifications such as CIBN, RIMAN or ICAN are advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Nigeria.

Compensation

Net pay: ₦700,000–₦900,000 + Growth.
