Banker, Personal at Stanbic IBTC Bank – Northern Nigeria
Stanbic IBTC Bank is recruiting five Personal Bankers in Northern Nigeria for its Personal and Private Banking business. The role manages relationships with retail customers and provides banking solutions aligned with their needs.
Responsibilities
- Build and retain relationships with retail customers, encouraging referrals and long-term engagement.
- Explain loan applications, credit reviews, lending obligations and account conduct requirements.
- Assess existing and new customers’ financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products.
- Identify suitable cross-selling opportunities within assigned retail customer portfolios.
- Manage portfolio revenues, costs and financial risks while maintaining good customer relationships.
Requirements
- University degree.
- Strong interpersonal, rapport-building, advisory and client-service skills.
- Knowledge of consumer banking processes, lending application checks, customer reviews and retail banking products.
- Effective problem-solving, time management, information analysis, compliance awareness and teamwork.
