Dangote Cement Plc seeks a Procurement Officer in Obajana, Kogi State, to manage sourcing, contracts and supplier performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop purchasing strategies and evaluate potential vendors based on business needs and market conditions.
- Negotiate terms, manage supplier relationships and coordinate demand forecasts with internal departments.
- Monitor delivery times, costs, supplier performance and contract documentation.
- Resolve procurement disputes and discrepancies and prepare purchasing reports.
- Maintain legal, ethical and company purchasing controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- At least five years’ procurement and supply-chain experience.
- Negotiation, supplier management, analytical reporting, procurement software and Microsoft Office skills.
