Production Documentation Officer at Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited – Ikeja, Lagos

Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited is seeking a Production Documentation Officer in Ikeja, Lagos, to manage the accuracy, control and traceability of manufacturing documentation from raw-material dispensing to finished-product transfer.

Batch records and document control

• Prepare and issue approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Batch Packaging Records (BPRs), ensuring that batch, product, equipment and process information is correct.
• Review completed batch records for dates, signatures, quantities, equipment identifiers, processing parameters and compliance with established procedures.
• Verify raw-material use, dispensing records, processing times, temperatures, machine parameters, yields, packaging quantities and final-product reconciliation.
• Control current versions of SOPs, forms, logbooks and production records; withdraw obsolete copies and maintain orderly filing, access and retrieval.
• Ensure production documents comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and good documentation practices, including accurate, timely and traceable entries.
• Identify documentation errors, omissions and deviations and assist with investigation and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain equipment and production-area logbooks, review their completeness, and manage secure archiving and retention of completed manufacturing records.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Warehouse, Engineering and Regulatory Affairs to resolve discrepancies and prepare batch records for release review.

Relevant knowledge and skills

• Knowledge of GMP, good documentation practices and pharmaceutical production processes.
• Strong document control, accuracy, record-keeping and ability to identify inconsistencies.
• Competence with Microsoft Word and Excel, communication and organisation.
• Qualifications commonly relevant to the work include BSc or BTech training in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry or a related discipline.

Salary

₦180,000–₦220,000 per month.
