Quality Control & Assurance (QA/QC) Officer, Construction at Migliore Construczione & Tecniche Limited – NCI, Gbagada

Migliore Construczione & Tecniche Limited seeks a Construction QA/QC Officer in NCI, Gbagada, Lagos, to manage project inspections, prevent defects and ensure construction work meets technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enforce project quality plans, inspection and test plans and construction method statements.
• Assess material approvals, supplier and subcontractor documents, pre-pour inspections and designated inspection hold points.
• Conduct site inspections and witness tests for concrete, steel, welding, compaction and other construction materials.
• Record non-conformities, investigate root causes and follow through on corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain inspection registers, snag lists and handover records, and analyse quality KPIs, rework costs and closure times.
• Support QMS audits, communicate quality standards to contractors and report findings to project leadership.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in civil engineering, building, construction technology or a related field.
• At least five years’ progressive construction QA/QC experience.
• Working knowledge of construction codes, material testing, inspections, NCR and CAPA processes.
• Strong reporting, documentation, Microsoft Office and communication skills.
• ISO 9001 training, COREN/NSE professional registration or CSWIP/ASNT/NDT certification is preferred.
• Good judgement, integrity, attention to detail and ability to work on active project sites.
