Regional Sales and Marketing Manager – North at Elkris Group (2 Openings) – Kaduna and Kano
Elkris Group of Companies is recruiting two full-time Regional Sales and Marketing Managers for Kaduna and Kano, with responsibility for market expansion and regional sales execution across Northern Nigeria.
Sales, distribution and market expansion
- Develop and deliver regional sales and marketing strategies, performance targets and market-entry plans.
- Lead Area Sales and Marketing Leads, Customer Sales Representatives and other field sales staff.
- Expand retail outlet coverage, onboard new trade customers and strengthen distributor and direct-to-retail channels.
- Drive sales volumes, revenue growth, product availability, market share and trade-marketing campaigns.
- Monitor stock, order fulfilment, trade debts, collections, outlet productivity, repeat orders and average drop size.
People leadership and reporting
- Recruit, deploy, coach and supervise regional sales teams in partnership with Human Resources.
- Visit markets, monitor competitors and identify opportunities to improve penetration and execution.
- Produce weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts and business reviews, maintaining accountability across assigned territories.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline.
- Seven to ten years’ relevant sales and marketing experience, preferably within fast-moving consumer goods.
- Experience leading regional or multi-territory teams, distribution networks, general trade and direct-to-retail operations.
- Demonstrated success against sales targets, strong commercial negotiation and staff-management skills.
- Ability to use sales dashboards, CRM tools and performance reports; willingness to travel extensively.
Success measures
- Sales and revenue growth, new-outlet onboarding, field-team productivity and distribution reach.
- Average drop size, repeat purchases, brand visibility, timely reporting and trade-marketing execution.
