Regional Sales & Business Manager – Southwest Region at Avon Healthcare Limited – Southwest Nigeria

Avon Healthcare Limited is recruiting a full-time Regional Sales and Business Manager for Southwest Nigeria. Reporting to the Group Head of Sales, the position owns regional growth, client retention, profitability and profit-and-loss performance for health insurance operations.

Commercial and operational leadership

• Build regional business plans, win and retain corporate and retail clients, and develop distribution partnerships.
• Lead sales teams, pricing and market development while improving customer loyalty and reducing churn.
• Oversee onboarding, service delivery, claims coordination and healthcare provider relationships.
• Control regional budgets, revenue, profitability, premium collection and operating costs.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, manage risk and work with relevant authorities and industry stakeholders.
• Mentor employees, set measurable targets and collaborate across sales, finance, medical services and customer support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Management or a related field; MBA desirable.
• Eight to ten years’ progressive HMO or health insurance experience, including at least three years in senior management.
• Evidence of sales growth, partnership development, revenue delivery and P&L accountability.
• Understanding of HMO service operations, healthcare provider networks and NHIS regulatory requirements.
• Strong negotiation, financial management, analysis, leadership and communication skills.
