Senior Internal Auditor – MFB via Open Access Consulting – Onitsha
Open Access Consulting is recruiting a Senior Internal Auditor – MFB for a banking position in Onitsha, Anambra State.
Responsibilities
- Oversee branch cash and vault operations with joint custody and accurate till disbursement records.
- Supervise tellers, customer service personnel and back-office transaction processing.
- Authorise eligible transactions, monitor till balances and maintain compliance with insured cash limits.
- Oversee account opening, mandates, transfers, cheque administration and customer instructions.
- Investigate cash differences, oversee end-of-day processing and review exception reports.
- Coordinate cash evacuation and enforce dual control, daily ticket checks and other branch operational controls.
- Work with ICT and Finance on banking system incidents, reconciliations and proofs.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least seven years of banking-operations experience, including three years supervising branch operations in a microfinance or commercial bank.
- Experience in microfinance, retail banking or SME lending and ability to meet applicable CBN fit-and-proper requirements.
- CIBN MCP strongly preferred; ACIB is an advantage.
- Competence in cash management, transfers, branch accounts, core banking systems, reconciliations and operational controls.
- Strong supervision, integrity, accuracy and customer-service skills; Igbo-language ability is relevant.
Salary
₦350,000–₦450,000 per month.
