Dr. Peter Odili Specialist Cancer & Cardiovascular Hospital is seeking a full-time Senior Nurse Manager for Education and Training in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Responsibilities and focus
- Lead nursing education, professional development and staff-training initiatives.
- Support clinical teaching, mentorship and assessment of nursing competencies.
- Promote evidence-based practice, clinical governance and quality improvement.
- Apply effective adult-learning methods to nursing education and workforce development.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a current professional licence.
- Substantial practical nursing experience together with demonstrable leadership, teaching and staff-development expertise.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based clinical practice, competency assessment, mentorship and clinical governance.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification in Nursing, Nursing Education or a related discipline is preferred.
