Software Tester / Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Uridium Technologies – Lekki

Uridium Technologies is hiring a Software Tester / Quality Assurance Engineer in Lekki, Lagos, to validate web, mobile, API and enterprise software before release, working with developers, analysts and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and technical specifications to plan testing against expected system behaviour.
• Prepare and execute functional, regression, integration, system and user acceptance tests.
• Test web and mobile applications, APIs, databases, business workflows and third-party integrations.
• Record defects with clear evidence, investigate severity and verify fixes.
• Maintain test plans, scripts, data, results and traceability records for audit and project reporting.
• Identify automation opportunities, maintain automated regression tests and support CI/CD processes.
• Use tools such as Postman for API testing and assist with performance or load testing as required.
• Report testing status, escalate release risks and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• B.Sc degree with three to four years of relevant software quality assurance or testing experience.
• Ability to design and execute structured test plans and document software defects.
• Understanding of functional, regression, end-to-end, integration and acceptance testing.
• Competence collaborating with development and project teams to resolve software quality issues.
