Time Office Assistant at Dangote Industries Limited – Obajana, Kogi
Dangote Industries Limited is recruiting a Time Office Assistant in Obajana, Kogi State, to maintain workforce timekeeping records and support attendance administration, shift monitoring and payroll reporting.
Responsibilities
- Record employees’ daily attendance, start and finish times, shift movements and biometric clock-in and clock-out details.
- Maintain timesheets, attendance registers, personnel files and time-management databases, investigating discrepancies.
- Record approved leave, overtime, off-days and shift adjustments, and track lateness, early departures and absenteeism.
- Prepare man-hour, attendance, overtime and workforce-availability reports for management and payroll teams.
- Monitor biometric attendance equipment and report faults for resolution.
- Answer employee questions about attendance, shifts and time-off requests.
- Ensure records meet internal policies and applicable statutory requirements while safeguarding sensitive employee information.
Qualifications and skills
- A bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Statistics, Accounting or a related field.
- Two to five years’ relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of attendance systems, payroll processes, HR practices and workforce issue resolution.
- Competence with HRIS systems, Microsoft Excel, Word and other Office applications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and coordination skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure.
