ATAfrica is recruiting a UI/UX Designer in Nigeria (Hybrid). The role has a hybrid work arrangement.

Summary

We’re looking for an ambitious and talented UI/UX Designer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, be passionate about creating user-centric designs, and be up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.

You will have the following responsibilities

Translate concepts into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand user needs and business objectives.
Develop and maintain a consistent design system and style guide.
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to iterate on design solutions.

Must have the following

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and process.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS and frontend development is a plus.
