Level 1/2 IT Support Engineer at Alfred & Victoria Associates – Remote

Alfred & Victoria Associates is recruiting a remote Level 1/2 IT Support Engineer for a full-time opportunity involving Microsoft cloud services, endpoint administration, networking and technical support. The position is open to applicants based anywhere in Nigeria.

Role responsibilities

• Deliver first- and second-line support to users by phone and email.
• Diagnose desktop, application, hardware and connectivity issues.
• Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, firewalls and related IT systems.
• Support new-starter onboarding, account offboarding and end-user device deployments.
• Help manage endpoints, security initiatives and escalation to specialist engineers.
• Keep users informed about incidents and requests through resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
• Develop infrastructure, cloud and security skills through mentoring and practical assignments.

Required technical knowledge

• Hands-on support and administration of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online and Microsoft security and compliance solutions.
• Strong Windows desktop, laptop and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and network fault-finding.
• Excellent understanding of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
• Apple macOS support experience is desirable but not essential.
