Django and Python Web Developer at ATAfrica – Nigeria (Hybrid)
ATAfrica is recruiting a Django and Python Web Developer for a hybrid role in Nigeria. The developer will build and improve scalable web applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and improve web applications with Django and Python.
- Produce efficient, reusable and testable code, and take part in reviews, testing and deployments.
- Collaborate across disciplines to solve engineering challenges.
- Improve application performance and scalability and keep current with web technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university and at least three years’ Django and Python development experience.
- Sound knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, databases such as MongoDB or MySQL, and version control with Git.
- Experience with Agile delivery methods, problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork.
- Familiarity with React is an advantage; cloud-platform experience with Heroku, AWS or similar services is required.
- Experience in trading or electronic trading platforms is an advantage.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
