About the Role

• We are seeking a courteous, professional, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our fine-dining restaurant team.
• The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for providing exceptional dining experiences.
• Candidates must reside in or close to Chevron, Lekki, Lagos, and be able to commute conveniently to the restaurant.
• Proximity to the location is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
• Present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations on food and beverages.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and beverages professionally, following fine-dining service standards.
• Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and presentable before, during, and after service.
• Monitor guests’ needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints politely, escalating issues when necessary.
• Ensure orders are served accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process bills and payments accurately where required.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, cleanliness, and professional conduct.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, supervisors, and other service team members.
• Follow restaurant procedures, food safety guidelines, and service protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment is preferred.
• Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality will be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills and a pleasant, professional attitude.
• Good grooming, personal hygiene, and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm, courteous, and efficient in a busy environment.
• Strong teamwork, time-management, and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must live close to Chevron, Lekki, Lagos, or within a reasonable commuting distance.
