Account Officer (Waybill) at Dangote Industries Limited – Okpella Plant, Edo
Dangote Industries Limited is recruiting an Account Officer at its Okpella Plant in Edo State to maintain accurate waybill-related financial records and reconcile transport and dispatch transactions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, record and maintain accurate waybill financial information.
- Verify waybill charges, customers, destinations and related details.
- Record daily waybill transactions and account for collections and dispatch payments.
- Investigate discrepancies across waybills, receipts, collections and financial records.
- Maintain filing and supporting documentation for invoices, payments and transport transactions.
- Coordinate with Operations and Dispatch on completed deliveries.
- Produce accurate reports, monitor balances and comply with financial-control procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related subject.
- Two to five years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in transport, logistics, courier or haulage operations.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation and financial controls.
- Experience with waybills, collections or transport records is an advantage.
- Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills, strong numerical ability and close attention to detail.
- Integrity, problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.
