Area Business Manager at SCALE mPower – Lagos
SCALE mPower is recruiting a full-time Area Business Manager in Lagos to lead transport-park operations, manage Territory Sales Supervisors and oversee the performance of its credit-service activities.
Responsibilities
- Onboard transport parks, maintain links with park leaders and ensure complete operational records.
- Recruit, train, coach and supervise Territory Sales Supervisors, reviewing their performance and adherence to procedures.
- Coordinate loan disbursements, collections and repayment tracking with finance teams.
- Monitor park activities and field compliance, identify suspected fraud and escalate operational risks.
- Prepare reports on supervisor performance, loan conversion, collections, territory coverage and service delivery.
- Resolve customer, agent and park escalations and represent the organisation professionally.
Requirements
- Four to six years’ relevant field-based or regional operations experience and at least two years in field operations or agent management.
- Experience recruiting and leading supervisors or field agents.
- Strong sales, negotiation, communication, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and work with limited oversight.
- Experience in digital lending, microfinance, community networks or mobile reporting systems is an advantage.
