Assistant Valuation Manager, Transaction Services at KPMG Nigeria – Lagos
KPMG Nigeria is recruiting an Assistant Valuation Manager in Lagos to lead valuation engagements within its Transaction Services team.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, supervise and deliver valuation assignments for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, restructuring, capital raising and strategic decisions.
- Develop and review sophisticated valuation models, financial analyses, reports and presentations for clients and senior stakeholders.
- Apply firm methodologies and professional standards to engagement quality and project delivery.
- Manage client relationships, explain valuation conclusions and provide commercial and technical advice.
- Support business development, proposal work and collaboration across engagement teams.
- Improve valuation methods, engagement planning, delivery processes and client service.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least six years of relevant experience in valuation, transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking or deal advisory, including managing client assignments and teams.
- A professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or CFA.
- Strong technical knowledge of valuation techniques, complex financial modelling and financial-statement analysis.
- Excellent presentation, written communication, analytical thinking and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead teams, balance multiple projects and meet demanding deadlines.
