Auction Manager at Ayo Mayomi & Company – Victoria Island

Ayo Mayomi & Company is recruiting an Auction Manager in Victoria Island, Lagos State. The role will plan and oversee real estate auctions, bidder relationships and auction reporting.

Role Description

• The Auction Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing real estate auctions from start to finish. This role includes organizing auction schedules, preparing property listings and documentation, and ensuring all regulatory and company policies are followed.
• The Auction Manager will manage both in-person and online auction activities, liaise with clients, bidders, and internal teams, and handle pre-auction inquiries and post-auction follow-up.
• Daily tasks involve monitoring auction platforms, resolving participant issues, maintaining accurate records of bids and sales, and preparing reports for management.
• The role also requires active customer engagement, clear communication with stakeholders, and continuous improvement of auction processes to maximize participation and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Auction Management, Auctions, and Online Auctions for effective planning and execution of real estate auction events.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, bidders, and team members.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills to handle multiple auctions, deadlines, and documentation efficiently.
• Candidates should possess basic proficiency with digital tools and online platforms used for marketing, registration, and bidding.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of real estate principles and local property market practices; prior experience in real estate or auction operations is an advantage.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in Lagos, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
• Experience with industrial machinery, equipment, generators, factory tools, and other industrial assets will be an added advantage.
