An undisclosed employer is recruiting a Business Development Analyst in Atan, Ogun State. The role will analyse commercial opportunities and support business growth in a recycling or related FMCG setting.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Analyst to identify growth opportunities, analyse market trends, develop business strategies, and support revenue growth within a recycling company or related FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and industry trends.
• Analyse sales performance, market data, competitors, and business growth opportunities.
• Identify and develop relationships with potential clients, suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, feasibility reports, and market intelligence reports.
• Support client acquisition, sales growth, contract negotiations, and business expansion initiatives.
• Monitor sales pipelines, customer engagement, and business development performance.
• Analyse business performance and recommend strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with management, sales, operations, and marketing teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• HND / BSc Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in business development, market research, sales analysis, or commercial strategy.
• Experience in a recycling company, manufacturing, or related FMCG industry is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, research, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools; knowledge of Power BI, CRM software, or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Ability to identify business opportunities, interpret data, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
• Commercial awareness, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset.
