Business Development Manager at an Undisclosed Transportation Company via Excel and Grace Consulting – Lagos

An established transportation business is recruiting a Business Development Manager in Lagos to increase revenue, win corporate contracts and develop strategic commercial partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth strategies and secure new accounts among corporate organisations, travel agencies and logistics companies.
• Win staff transportation, charter and other transportation service contracts, and negotiate profitable commercial terms.
• Research market trends, competitors and expansion opportunities, preparing proposals, quotations and presentations.
• Build lasting client and partner relationships and collaborate with operations to meet service agreements.
• Lead marketing and business development initiatives, monitor the sales pipeline, customer retention, revenue and market share, and prepare accurate performance reports.
• Represent the business in meetings, industry forums and networking events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline.
• At least five years’ experience in business development, sales or commercial management, preferably in transport, logistics or mobility.
• A record of securing clients, winning contracts and meeting revenue targets.
• Strong B2B sales, negotiation, relationship management, presentation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or sales-management tools; established sector networks are an advantage.

Salary

₦600,000 per month.
