A technology-based SaaS sales company is recruiting a Chief Operations Officer (SaaS) in Lekki, Lagos.

in this role the COO will be responsible for overseeing the Sales, Marketing, IT, and Customer Experience units within the organization.

The COO ensures the seamless execution of business operations, drives revenue growth, and enhances customer satisfaction by aligning operational strategies with the company’s mission and goals.

The individual in this role collaborates closely with the CEO and other executives to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and establish the organization as a leader in the business technology solutions industry.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Execution: Develop and implement business strategies that enhance efficiency, revenue growth, and market expansion. Work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to shape the company’s vision and strategic direction.
• Sales & Marketing Oversight: Drive business development initiatives and revenue growth through innovative sales and marketing strategies. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
• IT & Digital Transformation: Oversee IT initiatives, ensuring they support business operations and enhance product/service delivery. Drive digital innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Customer Experience & Retention: Develop and execute strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention rates. Ensure an excellent customer journey by integrating digital solutions and process improvements.
• Operational Efficiency & Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success across all business units. Streamline internal processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and corporate governance standards. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect business interests.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a relevant field is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 7 years in an executive role in a technology-driven or business solutions organization.
• Proven experience in managing multi-functional teams, particularly in Sales, Marketing, IT, and Customer Experience.
• Demonstrated success in business growth, operational excellence, and process improvement. Strong background in digital transformation, emerging technology solutions, and customer engagement strategies.

Remuneration

Up to N4,000,000.
